MR. EDITOR: I want to find my people: Father's name was Ben Mitchell or Ben Dotson, used to belong to Mr. Adam Richmond My mother died when I was so young that I don't remember her. Father then married again; his wife's name was Patience. She belonged to one Frank Burton. There were two children by my mother, myself (Jesse) and Sister Nancy and two by his wife Patience, viz: Tom and Howard. They went by the name of Burton as their mother belonged to Burton. Curry bought us and after his death, his widow Julia A. Curry brought us to Texas. I left them at Yanceville, Castle County, North Carolina.
