MR. EDITOR—I wish to inquire for my kin folks. My father was Clay and uncle Jacob Finner. Father went to the army in 1860. I heard he was running a restaurant, also that he was dead. Uncle Jacob went away in 1861. I was a boy three years old. We belonged to old Joe Finner; he had two children, a boy and a girl. In 1863 we were sold to Parson Cooper near Hickory Flat, Miss.
