The Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Children of New York has in
its charge a boy who gives his name as
James Davis, claims he lives at No. 66
John street, Richmond, Va., and that
his mother remarried, her present name
being Annie Van Netten. She has two
other children, Fannie and Stephen.
They first lived at Farmville, Va.,
where his uncles, Brants and Tucker
lived.
