INFORMATION WANTED OF MY
mother, whose name was Lucy Diggs.
My name was Margaret Diggs. Harriet
Diggs was sold to Mr. Bolden Foster.
One of my brothers was John and the
other James, and a sister named Sallie and
two aunts named Betsy and Nancy. Our
old mistress was blind. When she died
we were sold. My name now is Margaret
Debra. All of my people lived on James
river, near Point Comfort, Va. Any information
