INFORMATION WANTED OF MY
mother, Phoebe Clarke. She used to be-
long to Mrs. Virginia Clarke. She lived in
Effingham County, Springfield, Ga. My
name is Charlotte Clarke. I was brought
away from my mother when 9 years of age
by a Methodist preacher by name of Josiah
Clarke. My aunt's name was Rose Clarke.
She was sold to a minister by the name of
James Parman. He lived in Buena Vista
Ga. and one aunt named Mary Clarke lived
in Albany, Ga., and one by the name of Di-
ana Clarke. Both of them used to belong to
a lawyer by the name of Dick Clarke, in
Albany, Ga. My oldest sister's name was
Jane, the younger one Susie and my little
brother's name was Andrew. Any infor
