Palmer Hues searching for his grandmother Sopha Bell and aunt Caroline Joseph
MR. EDITOR—I wish to inquire
for my grandmother, Sopha Bell,
and aunt Caroline Joseph. Aunt
had a son named Amos Bell who
was a member of St. Paul's Church
in New Orleans, but he came up
the country in 1866. He had two
daughters, Palmy and Octavia
Bell. The last I heard of him he
was dead. Grandmother and aunt
were living in New Orleans, on
Claiborne street, but I do not know t
he number. Address me at St.
