MR. EDITOR— I desire to inquire for my relatives. I was born in Washington county, Ky. I was five years of age when taken from my people. My name was Mary Gordon. I was sold to a man named Glasscock. He took me to Bedford county, Ky. My grandmother then belonged to a family by the name of Jetts and my grandfather to Gordon. I can’t remember my mother’s name, but I think it was Marie.
