Mary Seals searching for her father, mother, brothers, and daughter
Dear Editor - I desire information concerning my father, mother, brothers and daughter, in Cobb Co., Georgia, near Acworth. Father's name was Sam Stricklin, Terrel was brother's name, Mintie Antoinet daughter's. They belonged to Jerry Moore. Mother, Charlotte Stricklin, and two brothers, John and Green, lived in Forest, about 30 miles from where father lived. I belonged to Wm. Jolly and was sold by him to Jerry Moore, and he sold me to a speculator, who kept my daughter. She was about five years old. Any information of the present whereabouts of any of my people will be thankfully received. If I can find where my daughter is I will go to see her. Please publish this, and I sincerely hope that the preachers will read this from their pulpits and make diligent inquiry particularly for my daughter. She is my only child and I have been thinking of going back to Cobb Co. to see if I could find her. I will first try this plan.
