DEAR EDITOR—Please allow me to inquire for my relations. I left my mother and sister in Alabama, Lowndes Co. My mother was Isabella, and my sister Betty. They belonged to Billy Payne. We were brought to the place between McMinn and Pierce's Hill by the speculators, and there sold. I was sold to Alex Taylor.
