Mrs. Sislie Hackett is searching for her daughter Nancy Templeton. Nancy was sold by John Templeton to a negro trader named Randale Cannon. When Nancy was sold, she and her husband, Thornton went by the last name Alexander but now go by Hackett. Nancy now has four siblings, John, Betsy, Jane, and Alex. Jane was the baby when she left. The last her mother heard from her, Nancy was carried by the negro trader to Richmond, VA around 1840 or '50. They were living in Fairfield, VA but have since moved to Texas.
