A. B. Dickson looking for information about his grandparents Austin and Dilsa Dixon and the three children they were traveling with, Caroline, Vigil, and William. He last saw them in Rutherford, TN in 1848. D.C. Dement enslaved them and after his death they were sold to James Fleming.
Probably the same as A. B. Dixon who inquired the next year about his friends by the name of Dedment. He also mentioned them living with a Joseph Dedment who is probably the same as Joseph Dement. No idea which issue's spellings are correct.
