Dear Editor: I wish to inquire for my mother and father. Nathan and Mimmia Turner, they formerly belonged to Col. Steele, Woodford Co., near Lexington, Kentucky. I had two sisters; Elizabeth and Peggy Turner. I was sold in Lexington, Ky., when I was 12 years of age, and now I am mother of twenty children. My name was Harriet Turner, but I married.
