MR. EDITOR:—I wish to inquire for my relations. I left them in Charleston, South Carolina, about five years before the war, and was brought to Texas by a speculator James McClevy. My brother was Clarissa Deviger, sisters Lavinia and Mariah Wellington, brother Miinky Eugelby. Brother was carried to New Orleans and sold. Address me at Pittsville, Texas, care Rev. A. C.
