MR. EDITOR— I want to make some inquiry about my father and mother. My father's name was James Thomas, and my mother's Alcy. We belonged to a man by the name of March Banks. I have one sister, Rose Mayfield, and another named Lizzie. She married A. Davis. She lived two miles below Waxahatchie, Ellis Co., Texas. My name was Jane March Banks, but is now Jane McCuin. My father was taken from us at Waxahatchie. He was a Baptist preacher. The last time I heard from him he was in South Kansas. I had one uncle named Riley and one Abram. Abram is here in Texas.
