Looking for Relatives.
A pathetic letter was received yester-
day [yesterday] by Inspector Mattingly from James
Bell, colored, a resident of Highwood,
Conn. The writer is anxious to learn the
whereabouts of his relatives, whom he
has not seen for many years, and he be-
lieves [believes] they are in this city. Bell was
born in Stafford County, Virginia, and
his mother was Julia Bell.
