DEAR EDITOR: I wish to inquire for my father's kin people. Grandfather was Thomas Franklin, and he died belonging to Dr. James, of Farquhar county, Virginia, below Warrenton Courthouse. His wife, Rachel, belonged to the same man. His oldest child was Williams; the next was Emperor. Sister Jane married a Mr. Jackson. John, Fanny, Harrison, Thomas, and Nancy were other children.
