DEAR EDITOR --- I wish that you
would please allow me space in
your columns to make some
inquiry about my uncle. His name
used to be John Pinkard. He lived
with a widow woman by the name
of Ann Pinkard. I was taken away
from him in 1863, and was brought
to Texas by Tom Pinkard, white,
with my uncle, Warren Pinkard,
who is now at Little Rock, Ark.
