INFORMATION WANTED OF MY UNCLE-
Jack Eley. Have not heard of him
since 1861. He left Isle of Wight county,
Va., in that year and we have never heard
of him since. Any information of him will
be thankfully received by his sister (my
mother.) Her maiden name was Eliza
Eley, then she married Daniel Gadling, all
of whom were slaves of Nathaniel C.
Young, near Smithfield, Va. Please address,
Dr. Wm. S. Gladling, East Orange,
N. J.
