Shreveport, La., Feb. 24, 1917.
To The Fraternal Monitor,
Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dear Mr. Editor:
I would like to ask if you or any
of your readers can tell me the pres-

son of Mrs. Millie Benden and a half-
brother of Allen Lee. In slavery time
the family was owned by Windon
Roberson of Abiton, Va., and after the
war the family moved to Louisiana.
Any information concerning the
said James Mitchell if communilated
to his niece, Mrs. Margaret Rollins,
