My Dear Miss Emma
I have just heard where you were and embraced the opportunity gladly to write to you. We are all here at present and I sincerely hope you are enjoying health the family at Mr Myers are here also Miss Rebecca was at my house this week and I saw Miss Caroline Monday just as brisk and looking as well as she did when we were borne on Sixth Street and I was there while they were we here John and the she was keeping house just as you were to be. I am glad to hear you are with Miss Ellen to. I always felt you had a

welcome place in Miss Ellen’s heart and I can imagine [indecipherable] a good [indecipherable] Time you have after Miss Ellen and get’s through the [indecipherable] of the day We here have been have been carried away with [indecipherable] [indecipherable] and [indecipherable] [indecipherable] [indecipherable] as to my [indecipherable] Mrs. Ema I take no [indecipherable] in Rbeca at all I am something [indecipherable] poor Miss Elley a I am jus for those that will do best. but I hope they will not put strangers to rule our people You request a [indecipherable] and [indecipherable] to look after the [indecipherable]. I was there last sunday with, and it was in excellent [indecipherable] and while there we met [indecipherable] of Mr. Ian Myer’s acquantances, family there we [indecipherable] and we [indecipherable] and we had a long talk about old times and they said how much [indecipherable] [indecipherable] and there to see ms

looking after [indecipherable] last resting place it shows good feelings and attention and I [indecipherable] then I [indecipherable] could forget my people I loved them then and I loved them now. Every thing looks [indecipherable] at this time Miss Ema but I hope there is a bright spot in the sistance I so often say there is nothing True but hear [indecipherable] this world. Let us look from this world of Trouble [indecipherable] than world where Trouble and sorrow never comes and let us with grace hearts look to the [indecipherable] of the new [indecipherable] where if we are faithful we will get when the [indecipherable] cease to Trouble and the weary are at rest. Please say to Miss Ellen I am so glad she has [indecipherable] [indecipherable] of her {indecipherable] [indecipherable] her no matter how dash it seems [indecipherable] make it lighter
