Dear Brother I availe my-
Self of this oppertunety to have a few lines
wrote to you to let you know wheare I
am & how I am &c. I am Now in Lee Co
not fare from albany. Belong? to Leonadus.
A Jordan. and I am well pleased with
my master’s & home & are well & injoying my
self very well. I am anktious to heare from
you & all my reletives friends & aquentencs
tell my former Mrs (Sarah Baker) wheare I am
& tell her I would be hapy to heare from her.
give aunt Matilda my love, & tel her to write
to me and I hope you & all of my friends
will write to me, & Come to see me; if possible
write me all the nuse [news] in general. I have
But litle to write you at present, as I have
bin hear But a short time. But will indev
or [endeavor] to do better next time write me immedi
atily upon the receip of this, and direct your
letter to Mr. G. M. Byne Albany Ga. I hope
