Maggie Patterson seeking her brothers
MR. EDITOR—I want to find my two brothers, Bill Scott and Martin Scott; also a fellow servant named Hettie Scott. Last we heard of her she had moved from Franklin, La., to New Orleans. My mother Henrietta, brother Ed and myself were separated from them about 1861. We separated at Franklin, La. At that time we all lived with Mrs. Scott and son, named elder Scott. He and his wife separated and Henry Scott, brother Ed and myself, Maggie, were given to his wife and two children, who lived in Baton Rouge, La. Lithia Scott and William Johnson refugeed with us to Texas, where we remained about ten years, until we moved to Shreveport, La. Any information will be thankfully received.
