DEAR EDITOR-- I want to know where my mother, two sisters and three brothers are. I was brought out to Texas by a trader, Walter Campbell. My owner was Samuel Ward, who lived on the Liberty Road, Baltimore county, Maryland. Mother's name was Maria Grant, oldest sister Ann and the youngest one Charlotte Grant. My sister, Amanda Grant, died when she was a baby. My three brothers' names are George, Charley and John Henry. My name was Ellen Grant, but I married in Galveston since my arrival, and am now Ellen Jackson. I live between 11th and 12th streets, on avenue K. Address me in care of Rev. M. V.
