MR. EDITOR: I wish to inquire
for my sister and father. I left
sister in Fayette county, Tenn., 35
years ago. She was named Everetta,
and belonged to James Parchman,
who sold her to Mr. Fox. Her
mother, Catherine, was brought
from Tennessee, by Parchman, to
Texas, 35 years ago. My father
Alfred Gwinn, belonged to Atwood
Gwinn, and old mistress was
Margaret Gwinn. Father had two
children by my mother, one Alfred,
and the other Henry Jackson.
Address me at Laredo, Texas.
