DEAR EDITOR -- I desire to find
my people. I have been away from
New Orleans eight years and have
never heard from them during that
time. My father's name is Samuel
Harris, he was well known, blind,
and very old. I had three brothers,
Thomas, Joseph and Eugene
Harris; my sisters are married.
One married John Vineon, others
maiden names were Amy and
Taragi Harris. We were raised
together and went to the orphan
