MR. EDITOR --- I wish to see if I
can obtain any information through
your paper of my wife's mother
Matilda Greham, and family. Her
step father was Ned Greham : she
had a sister named Hannah Jane
and a brother named Rannell
McGuin ; I do not know the names of
the other children. Mother and
children were sold by Simeon Tucker
to Mr. Greham, who took them
to Wayne county, Miss., about 30
years ago. My wife got a letter
from her mother after the surrender:
she was then living near Shubuta
Miss. My wife's name was Eliz
Ann Tucker. She is about 36 years
old, has married and still lives in
the same neighborhood where her
mother left her. Address me at
Herbert, Kemper Co., Miss.
