W. J. Jordan searching for his uncle Platt Jordan
INFORMATION WANTED OF MY UNCLE
Platt Jordan. He belonged to Rev J. P.
Jordan in North Carolina, New Hanover
County. He was sold to a speculator from
a plantation by the name of Stag Park and
carried to Purgan Depot, on the Wilming-
ton and Weldon Railroad. He was heard
from in 1880. We received a letter of in-
quiry at Wilmington, N. C., in St. Stephen's
A. M. E Church, from Rev. Decker John-
son, a preacher in the A. M. E Connection.
His brothers' names are Willis Jordan and
John Jordan. Any information of his
whereabouts will be gladly received.
