Of my mother and father, Grace
Phillips and G. G. Phillips. The
man who claimed them as slaves
lived at Fairfax Court House, Vir-
ginia. There were 12 children of
us My sisters names are Margar-
et and Rachel Phillips. My broth-
ers are G. G. Phillips and Ander-
son Phillips. I am a preacher in
the A. M. E. Church at Pacific,
Mo. JEFFERSON PHILIPS.
