Hartford, Conn. Jan. 21, 1910
The Tar Heel, Elizabeth City, N. C.
Robert Bowen (colored) was born
in North Carolina (locality unknown)
in 1842. He came to Hartford Conn
and enlisted in the U. S. Army in
1863. If living, he is entitled to a
small estate, and if dead, his heirs
are entitled to the same.
Please publish this letter and it
may come to the notice of someone
who has information concerning R.
Bowen or his heirs. Any such infor-
mation should be sent to the under-
signed without delay.
