Information wanted of my mother, Martha Jackson, a mulattress who belonged to Judge Lomocks, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and was sold in the year 1855. When last heard of was in Columbia, Mississippi, and keeping a millinery store. She had three sisters (octoroons, viz: Serena Jackson, born February 13th, 1849. Henrietta Jackson, born September 5th, 1853. Louisa Jackson, aged about 24 years; all were sold with their mother in Virginia.
