DEAR EDITOR: I wish to see if
my relatives can be found. I have
a father, mother, and one full sister.
Father was August Brown, sister,
Louisa Brown, three half-sisters
were Mary, Eliza, and Harriet
Brown, two brothers were Joseph
and George Brown. I was born in
Maryland, and when eleven years
old was brought to Tennessee. I
remained there four years, and was
taken to Missouri, and after being
there two years came to Texas. I
was brought to Tennessee by Jose
Gamden, a speculator. Jesse Breese
was my last owner. This occurred
1858 to 1866. I am about 39 years
old. Address me at Roxton, Lamar
county, Texas.
