MR. EDITOR--I wish to inquire
for my mother's people. Her name
was Emsie Smith. she was sold
from Lexington, Kentucky, when
very small girl, aged 10 or 12 years
I heard that uncle John Smith
lived in St. Louis, Missouri; and
uncle Fred Smith was in Baltimore
with a doctor, and mother was in
Louisiana. I also desire to hear
from father's people. He left them
in Missouri or Tennessee when a
small boy, aged 7 years. Uncle
was Henry Griffins. Address me
at Algiers, La.
