DEAR EDITOR : I wish to inquire
for my brother Jason or any of his
children. He was sold from me in
Mobile in 1848 to Mr. Lagoin, of
Mississippi, then he went by the
name of Jason McKinzie. His
wife was Bettie, his daughter
Josephine. Our mother was Joilett
McKinzie. I was sold to Edwin A.
Glover and brought to Texas. I
now go by the name of Samuel,
and am a local preacher of the M.
E. Church. Bro. Jason was also a
preacher. Address
LEROY SAMUEL,
care Prof. W. H. Jackson,
San Felipe, Texas.
