I would like to find my people. My
mother's name was Charlotte King,
and when I was sold I had five broth-
ers, viz: Alfred, John, Reason, Robert
and Paul King. At the same time
they were sold to Seth Woodruff, a
trader. My mother was sold to Mr
Hunter at Campbell Court House.
this sale was made after the death
of Mrs. King, the mistress. When Mr.
Woodruff went to Lynchburg, he sold
me and I was carried to Kentucky. I
have been living in Hopkinsville, Ky.,
for eleven years. My name is Rose
