Editor SOUTHWESTERN, I wish
to make inquiries through the
SOUTHWESTERN ADVOCATE, of my
brother Ephraim Patison. He was
owned by Mr. John M. Bell before
the war. A citizen of New Orleans,
my brother Ephraim was known as
a cook. That is what he was following
the last time I heard from him
He had a wife and two or three
children the last time I heard any
thing of him, which was about 8
